WoW Client 3.1.x Now Supported!

ok, here's the deal.

I found a new Repack that will allow you to use your current wow installation (3.1.x) as opposed to retrograding the client. just follow the same directions, using the most updated wow client.

The following has been fixed from ArcEmu r2496:

-Fixed the gameobject rotation, so the road signs, beds, etc. now face in their intended direction.
-Fixed the Instance scripts.
-Fixed NPC movement, now they run towards you on aggro and not "instant teleport" there.
-Player Movement
-NPC movement
-Fighting against NPCs
-Spells
-Mounts
-Taxi system
-Gameobjects
-Vendors
-Your bags and the bank tabs

Items below still need to be added hopefully support for the things below will be fixed soon:

Battlegrounds - Some are bugged, I recommended not use them...

Transports - Boats, Zepplins, etc.. are not working at this time, this can be corrected temporarily by adding portals

Ulduar and Argent Tournament are not yet spawned, this can be done manually or later on when database support is ready

Secondary Talents have not yet been added to trainers

How to Connect to the SSCT WoW Server

Down and dirty instructions on how to connect to my private WoW Server.

1. Go into "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS"

2. Use Wordpad to modify "realmlist.wtf" you want to remove the "us.realmlist.whatever.com" and replace it with the ip: "5.150.241.227"

3. Create a shortcut of the "WoW" icon to your desktop

4. Go to this URL, https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/vpn.asp?lang=en and download the Hamachi program (this allows you to connect to my VPN thereby allowing the WoW Client run faster, with less lag, you will not be able to connect to my server without hamachi). Install Hamachi once you are done downloading it.

5. Launch the Hamachi program. Once it is started, click the little triangle looking button at the bottom of the window, then "Join an existing network"

Network Name: 4th SSCT

Network Password: 4thSSCT (no space, case sensitive!)

6. Tell me what you want your username/pass to be, email me at wendall.anderson@gmail.com and I'll create it in the database

7. DONE! Enjoy the Game!
